HOW TO SUBMIT A BOOK MANUSCRIPT

Editorial Guidelines
Permanent Publications has a fine track record and is now the largest permaculture publishing company in the world. We are interested in a pratical range of subject areas concerning all aspects of sustainable living. We therefore welcome book ideas on subjects wider than just permaculture such as natural building, renewable energy, forest and organic gardening and low impact living. Our aim is to publish popular books that help and inspire people in practical ways.

Submitting A Manuscript
Please submit a synopsis for consideration to Maddy Harland, either by post or email maddy@
permaculture.co.uk
. The synopsis simply needs to contain an overview of the book’s content and its purpose (its ‘mission statement’ and any unique selling points), an outline of of the book's potential market both for the UK and possibly further abroad and a chapter by chapter summary. This should also be accompanied by a chapter sample.
